Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Befüllen eines zu befüllenden Behälters (4) mit einem karbonisierten Füllprodukt, bevorzugt in einer Getränkeabfüllanlage, umfassend ein Füllventil (3) zum Befüllen eines zu befüllenden Behälters (4), eine Entlastungsanordnung (7) mit einem Entlastungsventil (70) zum Entlasten eines im befüllten Behälter (4) vorliegenden Überdrucks, und einen sterilen Bereich (6), in welchem zumindest eine Auslauföffnung (30) des Füllventils (3) zur Verbindung mit einer Behälteröffnung (40) des zu befüllenden Behälters (4) aufgenommen ist, wobei die Entlastungsanordnung (7) zur Entlüftung des Überdrucks in den sterilen Bereich (6) direkt mit dem sterilen Bereich (6) kommuniziert.
