[origin: WO2018007620A1] A cosmetic unit with an applicator (1) consisting of an applicator component (2), which is connected to a handle via a shank (3), and with a cosmetic supply container, which holds a supply of cosmetics, and a scraper, wherein in its standby position, the applicator component (2) is submerged in the cosmetic supply and the handle of the applicator (1) is held on the cosmetic supply container such that the handle seals the cosmetic supply container and the applicator (1) can move into its usage position by the applicator component (2) being extracted from the cosmetic supply container through the scraper. The applicator component (2) has a free end face (5) at its distal end, said face forming a central region (6) and the edges of the free end face define an imaginary plane (E) which runs at an acute angle (W), inclined between 40° and 70°, to the longitudinal axis L of the shank or the base of the shank. The central region (6) has flocking and the central region (6) is at least partially bordered by at least one row of bristles (7).
