[origin: WO2018060115A1] The invention relates to a cleaning system (01) for cleaning floors. The cleaning system comprises a container (02) which has a base (06), a top edge (07), an opening (08), and side walls (09) that are formed on the base surface (06), and is designed to receive a cleaning liquid. Furthermore, the cleaning system comprises a mop carrier (03) having a carrier plate (19), a joint (23) and a handle (16) that is attached to the joint (23). The cleaning system also comprises a wringer (04) having a wringing roller (27), a housing (28) that partially encloses the wringing roller (27) and a shaft (29) that is attached to the housing and has an operating handle (30). On the housing (28), guide elements (31) are formed so as to leave a gap (32) between the wringing roller (27) and the guide elements (31), the gap width of which is adjusted to the thickness of the carrier plate (19) of the mop carrier when fitted with a mop covering (22). The wringer (04) can be placed on the carrier plate (19) of the mop carrier (03) and can be moved thereon towards the base (06) of the container (02), while the mop carrier (03) is fixed in a mop carrier receiver (14).
