[origin: WO2018007381A1] The invention presents an egg pack (0) produced by plastics injection moulding and having a lower part (1), which has a plurality of egg holders (10) in an interior (I), and having a lid (2), which is integrally formed via a hinge strip (3) and has an at least partially planar lid wall, wherein a releasable closed position of the lid (2) on the lower part (1) can be achieved by lid-fastening means (24) engaging in fastening means (12) of the lower part and a periphery (11) of the lower part engaging in a lid periphery (25), the intention being for the lid (2) to be configured such that it can be swung in a reproducibly simple manner onto the lower part (1). This is achieved in that at least one latch-in means (22) is integrally formed on an inner surface (21) of the at least partially planar lid wall, such that it projects away in the direction of a lid plane (D), and at least one open hollow stub (102) is integrally formed on the lower part (1), between adjacent egg holders (10), such that it projects away from the egg holders (10) and a subdivision plane (U), out of the interior (I), by way of a stub-opening periphery (1020) in such a manner that, in the closed position of the lid (2), the at least one open hollow stub (102) projects out of the interior (I) as far as the inner surface (21) of the at least partially planar lid wall, wherein the stub-opening periphery (1020) can be operatively connected to the latch-in means (22) and the inner surface (21) of the lid.
