[origin: WO2018007194A2] The invention relates to a disk brake for a utility vehicle, comprising a brake caliper (1) that extends over a brake disk (3), brake linings (4) which are mounted therein and contact the brake disk (3) in the functional position, wherein at least one brake lining (4) can be pressed onto the brake disk (3) by means of an application device (5) via at least one adjusting spindle (9), which is mounted in the brake caliper (1) and is provided on the outside with at least one axial groove (13), and a pressure piece (10) connected thereto, wherein the pressure piece (10) is held by means of a securing ring (14) at a head (12) of the adjusting spindle (9), wherein said head is formed on at one end and thickened in the shape of a stamp. The disk brake according to the invention is configured in such a manner that the securing ring (14) is cut and comprises a radial recess (15) in the overlapping region of the at least one axial groove (13) while a free space (16) is formed towards the pressure piece (10).
