Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung für die Durchführung von Schneidoperationen an mindestens einer offenen Formatkante mindestens eines Druckproduktes, wobei die Einrichtung in Wirkverbindung mit einer druckproduktbezogenen Zustellvorrichtung für die erste Schneidoperation und mit einer nach der letzten Schneidoperation operierenden druckproduktbezogenen Ausförderungsvorrichtung steht. Das Druckprodukt (A) ist für die kantenbezogene Schneidoperation von einem ersten (1) zu einem zweiten (2) und zu einem dritten Schneidort (3) überführbar, wobei die Überführung des Druckproduktes entlang einer Führungsstrecke von einem Schneidort zum nächsten mit mindestens einer Transporteinheit (101, 102, ....) stattfindet, und wobei die Transporteinheit mit mindestens einem Mittel versehen ist, mit welchem das Druckprodukt rückenseitig erfasst ist, und es von einem Schneidort zum nächsten hängend befördert. Die kantenbezogene Schneidoperation an mindestens einem durch mindestens ein Schneidwerkzeug (150a, 150b, 150c) an mindestens einem Schneidort (1, 2, 3) erfolgt durch eine Schneidoperation, welche optional durch Einleitung mindestens einer zweiten subsequent erfolgenden kantenbezogenen Schneidoperation ergänzt ist.
