[origin: EP2229857A2] The device has a suction motor for producing suction stream, and a suction device housing with an operating wall (23) for operating the suction device. A module retainer is arranged at the operating wall for retaining functional modules i.e. compressed air modules (50a), that are provided for electric and/or optic and/or acoustic functions. An electric connection arrangement is arranged at the module retainer for electrically connecting the functional modules at the suction device. The functional modules are detachably connected with the suction device housing by connection units.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sauggerät (10) zum Absondern von Partikeln aus einem Saugstrom (13), mit einem Saugmotor (12) zum Erzeugen des Saugstroms (13) und mit einem eine Bedienwand (23) zur Bedienung des Sauggeräts (10) aufweisenden Saugergehäuse (11). Bei dem Sauggerät (10) ist vorgesehen, dass an der Bedienwand (23) mindestens eine Modulaufnahme (30) zur Aufnahme mindestens eines eine elektrische und/oder optische und/oder akustische Funktion bereitstellenden Funktionsmoduls (50a-50d) angeordnet ist, dass an der Modulaufnahme (30) eine elektrische Anschlussanordnung (41) zu einem elektrischen Anschluss des mindestens einen Funktionsmoduls (50a-50d) an das Sauggerät (10) angeordnet ist, und dass das mindestens eine Funktionsmodul (50a-50d) mittels Verbindungsmitteln (52) mit dem Saugergehäuse (11) lösbar verbindbar ist. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Funktionsmodul (50a-50d) für das Sauggerät (10).
