Beschrieben wird ein Auflageteller (1) zum Positionieren von Behältern (2), insbesondere auf drehbaren Behältertischen (9). Der Auflageteller umfasst einen Grundkörper (3), eine darüber federnd gelagerte Auflageplatte (4) für einen Behälter und einen Führungsring (5) mit einem inneren Führungsabschnitt (5a) zur umfänglichen Führung des Behälters und mit einem äußeren Befestigungsabschnitt (5b) zur Befestigung am Grundkörper. Dadurch, dass der innere Führungsabschnitt gegenüber dem äußeren Befestigungsabschnitt des Führungsrings zum Grundkörper hin elastisch verformbar ist, sind zusätzliche elastische Elemente, wie beispielsweise Druckfedern, am Führungsring zur axial nachgiebigen Führung von Behälterböden entbehrlich.
