Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a system for forming an assemblable bottom for prism-shaped packages having a base in the shape of a regular or asymmetrical irregular polygon, with more than six pairs of faces. The system comprises three basic pieces: two end pieces (1), an intermediate piece (2) and one or more intermediate pieces (3). All said pieces are secured to the side of the box by means of end tabs (5), comprise a shared folding line (4-4') and are disposed in parallel. The end pieces (1) and the intermediate pieces (3) comprise pairs of grooves that determine lateral lugs (9-11) and central lugs (10-12) which, when the bottom is unfolded, connect together, the end lugs being disposed on the outer lower face of the bottom and the intermediate pieces connecting on the inner face of the bottom.
