Die Erfindung betrifft ein Set aus Steckverbinder (1) und Halteelement (2), wobei der Steckverbinder (1) ein Isolierstoffgehäuse (5) hat, der Steckverbinder (1) und das Halteelement (2) zur Verrastung miteinander ausgebildet sind, und das Halteelement (2) von einer Auflagefläche (15) des Halteelementes (2) abragende Rastelemente (11) hat, wobei der Steckverbinder (1) an einer Anrastfläche (9)mehrere Rastöffnungen (10a, 10b) hat, die einen Einsteckbereich (12) zur Aufnahme jeweils eines in einer lotrecht zur Anrastfläche (9) ausgerichteten Eintauchrichtung in den Einsteckbereich (12) eingesteckten Rastelementes (11) und einen daran angrenzenden und in den Einsteckbereich (12) übergehenden Rastbereich (13) haben, wobei der Rastbereich (13) eine Rastkante (14) zum formschlüssigen Verrasten eines Rastelementes (11) des Halteelementes (2) hat und an der Anrastfläche (9) eine kleinere Öffnung als der Einsteckbereich (12) aufweist, um nach einer quer zur Eintauchrichtung relativen Querverschiebung des Halteelementes (2) ein in den Einsteckbereich (12) eingestecktes Rastelement (11) in den Rastbereich (13) mit der Rastkante (14) zu verrasten.
