[origin: WO2018020179A1] The invention relates to a headrest (1) comprising two rods (2) provided with locking notches (3), a housing (4) in which the said rods are slidingly mounted and a locking device for locking the said housing with respect to the said rods, the said device comprising a transverse bar (5) slidingly mounted and provided with two lateral locking studs (6), the said bar being slidingly mounted on the said housing via two lateral bearings (9), the said bearings being mounted on the said housing in such a way as to be able to travel longitudinally, the said beariings being stressed by two respective springs (10) actuating them in such a way as to push the said bar towards the said rods in order to force the said studs to become inserted in the corresponding notches (3) when the said bar is in the locking position.
