[origin: WO2018019513A1] The invention relates to a system for monitoring a car park for motor vehicles, comprising:- a radio transmitter for transmitting a radio signal to a predetermined level in a car park, - a radio receiver for capturing the radio signal in the car park, - a measuring device for measuring the level of the captured radio signal, - a processor for comparing the measured level to the predetermined level wherein the processor is designed to determine, based on the comparison, whether an object is located in the car park. The invention further relates to a corresponding method, a car park for motor vehicles, and to a computer program.
