[origin: WO2018024329A1] The invention relates to a medical cooling pad (10) for cooling the skin, comprising a distal flexible pad support (20), a flexible cooling gel layer (30) applied to the proximal side of the pad support (20), and a medical wound dressing (40) arranged on the proximal side of the cooling gel layer (30) and having a smaller area than the cooling gel layer (30). The cooling pad can be used to dress and cool smaller skin lesions.
