[origin: WO2018024657A2] The invention relates to a finger spray pump (1) for spraying a medium (M), comprising a finger-actuated pump head (4) movable relative to a pump housing between a spraying position and an initial position, wherein the pump housing comprises a guide portion (21), the pump further having an outlet nozzle and a pump chamber (31), wherein the pump chamber (31) comprises an inlet valve (E) and an outlet valve (A), a piston rod (6), a pump piston (14), a first spring (27) acting between the piston rod (6) and the pump piston (14), and a second spring (28) acting between the piston rod (6) and the pump housing, wherein the pump piston (14) is movable relative to the piston rod (6) to a limited extent between a sealed position and an open position, to form the outlet valve (A), wherein the pump piston (14) in the sealed position lies on a sealing extension (13) of the piston rod (6) and in the open position allows the passage of medium between the sealing extension (13) and the pump piston (14). In order to further improve a finger spray pump of the type in question, the pump piston (14) is supported in both the sealed position and the open position on two zones (36, 37) of an outer surface of the piston rod (6) that are axially spaced apart. The invention further relates to a nozzle head (12) for a spray pump, preferably a finger-actuated spray pump.
