[origin: WO2018024375A1] The invention relates to a pack for cigarettes (10) having an outer pack (26), preferably embodied as a hinge-lid pack with a packet part (27) and a lid (28) which is pivotably mounted on the packet part (27), and having an inner pack (12) with a blank (13) of a packaging material which preferably substantially surrounds at least one cigarette group as pack contents on all sides, wherein the inner pack (12) has a removal opening (19) to allow the consumer access to the pack contents, and wherein the inner pack (12) has a closure means, in particular a closure flap (20), which is fastened to the inner pack (12) by means of an at least partially releasable adhesive bond and can be pulled off from the inner pack (12) for access to the removal opening (19) or the pack contents. The invention is characterized in that the blank (13), for forming the removal opening (19), is provided with an opening which can be closed by the closure means, wherein the closure means has a covering region which, in the closed position of the closure means, surrounds the opening on all sides or peripherally and can be connected by adhesive bonding to a region of the blank (13) that peripherally surrounds the opening, and in that a (separate) blank (39) of packaging material is fastened by adhesive bonding to the closure means on the side facing the inner pack (12) and, in the closed position of the closure means, completely covers the opening and projects on all sides with an overlapping region (X) beyond an edge of the opening.
