Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018024346A1] A window (1), a door or the like has a fixed frame (2), a wing (3) which can be moved relative to the fixed frame (2), and a scissor-type opening stay (4) between the fixed frame (2) and the wing (3). A fixed-frame-side pivot bearing (9) and/or a wing-side pivot bearing (8) of a scissor arm (7) of the scissor-type opening stay (4) is guided movably by means of a guide piece (14) along a guide groove (15) on the fixed frame side or along a guide groove on the wing side. A brake element is held on the guide piece (14) by means of a component connection. When in the installed position on the guide groove (15), the brake element is accommodated in a receptacle in the guide piece (14), said receptacle opening towards a groove bottom (18) of the guide groove (15). The brake element can be locked relative to the guide piece (14) with a locking movement perpendicular to the groove bottom (18) of the guide groove (15) and can thereby be clamped between the guide piece (14) and the groove bottom (18).
