[origin: WO2018024575A1] The present invention relates to a chimney mounting assembly (1) for use with an extractor hood (2) comprising: a fume extracting unit (3) for extracting the fume from the cooking place; a duct (4) for conducting the extracted fume to the outside, wherein the duct (4) comprises: an inlet (5) which is adapted for connection with the fume extracting unit (3); and an outlet (6), the chimney mounting assembly (1) comprising: a duct connector (7) which comprises two or more fluidly connected openings (8) and which is adapted to be connected through one of its openings (8) to the outlet (6) of the duct (4); and one or more mounting brackets (9) for mounting the duct connector (7) to the wall (10).
