Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen eines Soll-Saugrohrdrucks einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine (1) mittels eines iterativen Verfahrens, wobei für einen während des iterativen Verfahrens iterierten Saugrohrdruck (pl1) eine Zylinderfüllung (r) bestimmt wird (55) und der Soll-Saugrohrdruck in Abhängigkeit der bestimmten Zylinderfüllung (r) bestimmt wird (57). Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung eine Steuervorrichtung zum Ausführen des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens.
