[origin: WO2019120706A1] The invention relates to a metal screw closure cap (1) having a security ring (2) made of plastic for containers having a threaded neck and a shoulder below said thread. The aim of the invention is that of the lower ring component (12) being releasably connected by a predetermined breaking line (10) to the lower edge (8) of the upper ring component (8). According to the invention, this is achieved by way of a radially inner abutment for a projection projecting inwards on the lower ring component of the security ring (2) and a beaded edge (4) open radially inwards on the lower end of the casing of the screw closure cap. The security ring (2) comprises an upper (8) ring component and a lower (7) ring component having a predetermined breaking line (10). The beaded edge (4) on the lower end of the casing of the screw closure cap engages in a circumferential groove (3) in the upper ring component of the security ring and encloses an upper section of the upper ring component.
