[origin: WO2017016809A1] A lock for a window or a door comprises a main body and a lock element which is mounted on the main body, defines a holder for a catch element and can be moved between a release position and a blocking position. When the lock is in the installed position, the lock element can be moved automatically from the release position in the direction of the blocking position by a closing movement of the window casement/door leaf and can be latched to the main body in at least one arresting position, which is located between the release position and the blocking position, such that movement of the lock element in the direction of the release position is prevented, but movement of the lock element in the direction of the blocking position, in contrast, is allowed. A motor, which is arranged on the main body, is provided so that, when activated, it acts on the lock element when the latter is in the arresting position such that said element moves into the blocking position.

Ein Verschluss für ein Fenster oder eine Tür umfasst einen Grundkörper und ein an dem Grundkörper gelagertes Verschlusselement, welches eine Halteaufnahme für ein Riegelelement definiert und zwischen einer Freigabestellung und einer Blockierstellung bewegbar ist. Das Verschlusselement ist bei montiertem Verschluss durch eine Schließbewegung des Flügels automatisch von der Freigabestellung in Richtung der Blockierstellung bewegbar und in wenigstens einer zwischen der Freigabestellung und der Blockierstellung befindlichen Arretierstellung derart mit dem Grundkörper verrastbar, dass eine Bewegung des Verschlusselements in Richtung der Freigabestellung verhindert ist, ein Bewegen des Verschlusselements in Richtung der Blockierstellung hingegen ermöglicht ist. Ein am Grundkörper angeordneter Motor ist dazu vorgesehen, bei einer Aktivierung das in der Arretierstellung befindliche Verschlusselement derart zu beaufschlagen, dass es sich in die Blockierstellung bewegt.
