Ein Stromführungsprofil (1, 1a, 1b), das sich in einer Längserstreckungsrichtung (L) erstreckt und mehrere Nuten (4) zur Aufnahme von elektrischen Leitern (7) hat, die sich in Längserstreckungsrichtung (L) erstrecken und parallel zueinander verlaufen, wird beschrieben. Die Nuten (4) sind durch einen Nutgrund (6) und Nutseitenwände (5) begrenzt und an einer Kontaktierungsoberseite des Stromführungsprofils (1, 1a, 1b) offen, sodass die elektrischen Leiter (7) durch Aufstecken eines Abgriffsteckverbinders (20) auf die Kontaktierungsoberseite mit in die Nuten (4) hineinragenden Kontakten (21) des Abgriffsteckverbinders elektrisch leitend kontaktiert werden. Das Stromführungsprofil (1, 1a, 1b) hat einen sich in Längserstreckungsrichtung (L) erstreckenden elastischen Längenausgleichsbereich (3), der mit einer Mehrzahl von in Längserstreckungsrichtung (L) hintereinander folgenden Konturänderungen durch eine Folge inkrementaler Längenänderungen längenveränderbar ist.
