[origin: WO2018044178A1] A bolt tensioning assembly (4) is described, the bolt tensioning assembly (4) comprising: - a bolt (1 ) comprising a first end portion (11) and a second end portion (12) at an opposite side of the bolt (1 ), wherein the first end portion (11) is provided with an enlarged diameter to form a counter-pressure surface (13) facing the second end portion (12); and wherein the first end portion (11) is further provided with external threads to receive a lock nut (2); - a hydraulic bolt tensioning device (3) for tensioning of the bolt (1), the hydraulic bolt tensioning device (3) being arranged for enclosing a portion of the bolt (1) such that it abuts the counter pressure surface (13); and - a lock nut (2) arranged on the first end portion (11) of the bolt (1); wherein the hydraulic bolt tensioning device (3) and the lock nut (2) are dimensioned such that upon tightening of the lock nut (2), the lock nut (2) will tighten against a portion of the hydraulic bolt tensioning device (3). Furthermore there is described a bolt tensioning device (3) in the bolt tensioning assembly (4), and a method for tensioning of the bolt (1).
