Abstract (en)

[origin: US2016374720A1] An apparatus and method for inserting prosthesis implants into a patient pocket. The apparatus has two openings including a prosthesis opening and a proximal opening. The prosthesis bag is a container with a wide sealed distal end and passage to a narrow apex. The apparatus reduces infection; eases insertion and placement of a cohesive silicone gel implant; and reduces complications. In use, the prosthesis bag is placed through the patient incision while allowing the bag to be manipulated to force the prosthesis into a surgical pocket of a patient.
