[origin: WO2018046343A1] The invention relates to a method for managing personal data (3) stored in a distributed system (10), wherein the personal data (3) are transmitted by a terminal device to at least one network node (7, 11, 15, 23), and wherein the user (1) of the distributed system (10) is provided with a user interface, by means of which the personal data (3) are to be managed in respective network nodes (7, 11, 15) of the distributed system (10) which manage the personal data (3), and wherein management commands provided via the user interface for management of the personal data (3) within the distributed system (10) are transmitted via a predetermined interface which is configured at least for the respective network nodes (7, 11, 15) of the distributed system (10) which manage the personal data (3).
