Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018046187A1] The invention relates to a device for sensing the environment of a motor vehicle, comprising: a parking control unit, a first data-processing apparatus, one or more sensor units, which each comprise one or more environment sensors for sensing the environment of a motor vehicle and a communication interface for the wired transfer of environment sensor data corresponding to the sensing, - wherein the parking control unit has a communication interface which is designed for the wired receiving of the environment sensor data, - wherein the first data-processing apparatus has a communication module which is designed for the wired receiving of the environment sensor data from at least one communication interface of the sensor unit(s), - wherein the communication module is designed to transmit the environment sensor data and/or environment data based on the environment sensor data to a second data-processing apparatus via a wireless communication network such that the second data-processing apparatus can transmit the environment sensor data and/or the environment data to a cloud server via a further wireless communication network. The invention further relates to a motor vehicle, to a method for sensing the environment of a motor vehicle, to a method for processing a motor vehicle, a system for sensing the environment of a motor vehicle, and to a computer program.
