[origin: WO2018050982A1] The invention concerns a harness (1) for carrying at least one electric battery for a hand-held power tool on the back, comprising - a battery attachment plate (10), - a lumbar support appendage (30) provided with a waistband (36, 36a, 36b), - at least one rigid spacer (40), rigidly connected to the lumbar support appendage and connecting the lumbar support appendage to the battery attachment plate. According to the invention, the battery attachment plate is mounted slidingly on the spacer, along a spacer axis (41), between a distal position separated from the lumbar appendage and a proximal position close to the lumbar support appendage, the harness comprising a lock (42) for immobilising the battery attachment plate (10) on the rigid spacer (40) in at least one of the proximal position, the distal position, and at least one intermediate position between the proximal position and the distal position. Applicable in the field of carrying batteries and tools.
