Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2018049440A1] The invention relates to a stackable crate made of cardboard having two side walls (3) connected to a front wall (4), which have an outer edge (10) that is sloping, in relation to the lower front wall (4), from an engaging protrusion (11) projecting vertically and corresponding to a base recess (22), wherein the sloping outer edges (10) and the connected engaging protrusions (11) are reinforced by inwardly folded adhesive tabs (12, 13) that leave gussets between themselves when laid flat, which taper in relation to the transition between the engaging protrusion (11) and the sloping outer edge (10). In order to create advantageous construction conditions, according to the invention, the adhesive tabs (12, 13) for both the sloping outer edge (10) and the connected engaging protrusion (11) are connected to the side opposite the tip of the gusset by an edge strip (16) to form a common fold-in flap (14), and the edge strip (16) forms folding lines (19) starting from the corners of the remaining triangular gusset recess (15) for the counter-directional folding in of the edge strip (16) in relation to the two sections of the fold-in flap (14) creating the adhesive tabs (12, 13).
