Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018041400A1] The invention relates to a drain fitting for a WC flush tank (1), comprising a drain valve (5), which is made of a drain connector (39) mounted on the flush tank (1) and a stroke-controllable overflow tube (13) that closes a flow passage through the drain connector (5) in the closed position of the overflow tube, and comprising a pneumatic actuator (31) that can be used to move the overflow tube (13) into the open position, in which a quantity of flush water can flow out of the drain connector (5) of the WC flush tank (1), when pressure is applied. According to the invention, negative pressure can be applied to the pneumatic actuator (31) in order to control the stroke of the overflow tube (13) into the open position. The drain fitting has a negative pressure unit (33), in particular a water-conducting negative pressure unit, which is connected to the pneumatic actuator (31) and which generates a negative pressure that acts on the pneumatic actuator (31) upon an activation carried out by a user.
