Eine erfindungsgemäße Laufschaufel 20 für eine Strömungsmaschine weist in einem radial inneren Bereich eine Grundplatte 23 mit einer Grundplattenoberfläche 24 auf, die dazu eingerichtet ist, in der Strömungsmaschine einem Deckband einer der Laufschaufel benachbarten Leitschaufelreihe 10 zugewandt angeordnet zu werden und dabei im Wesentlichen entlang einer Kegelmantelfläche Kzu verlaufen, deren Kegelachse mit der Rotationsachse A einer Rotorwelle 30 übereinstimmt.
