Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018060360A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a component, the method comprising: pre-forming a workpiece (20) into a pre-formed component (10a, 10b, 20') having a bottom region (12, 22), a frame region (14, 24) and optionally a flange region in such a way that the pre-formed component (10a, 10b, 20') has a material excess for the frame region (14) and/or the bottom region (12) and/or optionally the flange region; and calibrating the pre-formed component (10a, 10b, 20') into a component (20") finally formed at least in some regions, having a bottom region (22), a frame region (24) and optionally a flange region; wherein the bottom region of the pre-formed component has substantially the geometry and/or the local cross-sections of the bottom region of the component finally formed at least in some regions. The invention further relates to a device for producing a component, in particular for performing the method.
