[origin: WO2019114920A1] The invention relates to a method for controlling a lighting installation by means of a lighting control console, wherein: digital control commands are produced in the lighting control console and are transferred via data connections to lighting apparatuses of the lighting installation; a particular light effect can be produced by controlling the lighting apparatuses; at least one adjustable lighting apparatus can be adjusted by means of at least one servomotor such that the lighting apparatus can be moved into different positions; and a preprogrammed lighting program is carried out in a plurality of program steps to be performed in succession, the method comprising the following method steps: a) switching off the adjustable lighting apparatus under program control such that no light effect is produced by the lighting apparatus; b) driving the servomotor under program control in order to move the lighting apparatus into the next predefined positioning; c) switching on the lighting apparatus under program control in order to produce a light effect in the attained positioning; the ambient volume being measured by means of a microphone, each program step being assigned an acoustic parameter, which characterizes the noise sensitivity of the associated program step, and the acoustic parameters of all program steps lying between method step a) and method step c) being compared with each other, and the adjustment of the lighting apparatus being carried out by driving by means of the associated servomotor in dependence on the comparison result.
