[origin: WO2018069613A1] The invention concerns a device for wringing out threads (47) of a mop with flexible and absorbent threads, comprising: - a wringer basket (24) comprising a main opening (68) allowing the threads to pass in and out of a receiving cavity (26) extending to a bottom (28) of the basket opposite the main opening (68), - a support (23) for the basket (24), - a device (73) for guiding the basket (24) in rotation relative to the support (23), the guide device (73) being assembled to the support (23) and to the basket (24), the guide device (73) extending around a lateral portion of the basket between the bottom (28) of the basket (24) and the main opening (68), characterised in that the basket comprises an apertured vessel (25) and a ring (34) that has confining tabs (36, 37) for transmitting a torque between the vessel (25) and the guide device (73).
