[origin: WO2018065713A1] The invention relates to a shell chocking device (1) and to a propulsion-charge rack able to accommodate such a device (1), with the device (1) arranged horizontally for a shell (100) intended to be positioned in the rack, the device (1) comprises a trough (2) intended to be placed in the rack (11), the trough (2) comprising support surfaces (3) intended to support the shell (100) and bearing surfaces (4) comprising uprights intended to be in contact with the lateral walls (16) of the rack so as to prevent any transverse movement of the device (1) relative to the rack, the support surfaces (3) also being arranged in the rack in such a way as to position the longitudinal axis of the shell (100) a distance R away from an upper part of the rack.
