[origin: WO2018069483A1] The invention relates to a mold (100) having a mold divider (3) for installation in the mold (1), and to a method for the simultaneous continuous casting of two casting strands using the mold (1) and the mold divider (3). The aim of the invention is to shorten the time for the removal of the mold divider (3) from the mold (1), the insertion of the cold strand (65) from the pouring side of the mold (1), and the installation of the mold divider (3) into the mold (1). This aim is achieved by a mold (1) having a mold divider (3) according to claim 1, and by a method for the simultaneous continuous casting of two casting strands in a mold (1) using the mold (1) and using a mold divider (3) according to claim 7.
