Abstract (en)
[origin: CN110158214A] A method for operating a spinning station of a ring spinning machine after a doffing operation is provided. The spinning station includes a spindle, a steel collar bead ring, a yarn guide and a drafting device assigned to the spindle. The method comprises the following steps: detecting yarn breakage at the spinning station after the doffing operation, moving a maintenance vehicle to the spinning station and correcting the yarn breakage. The amount of yarn on a cop is checked before the yarn breakage is corrected by the maintenance vehicle; if too little yarn is present on the cop, the yarn cannot be guided to the drafting device, yarn is connected at the position, the cop is cleared, the yarn is attached to an unoccupied cop, and then the yarn is guided to the drafting device through the maintenance vehicle, the steel collar bead ring and the yarn guide and is connected here; and if the bobbin has sufficient yarn on it to be guided to the drafting device, the yarn is connected at the drafting device, and the yarn is guided to the drafting device through the maintenance vehicle, the steel collar bead ring and the yarn guide and is connected here.
