Abstract (en)

[origin: CN110158292A] The invention relates to a device (1) for drying laundry. The device includes at least one process air system (3), at least one heat pump (7) thermally coupled to the process air system (3), and at least one flushing device (13) for flushing an evaporator (9) of the heat pump (7). In order to improve the drying power of the device (1), the device (1) has at least one flushing unit (20) for flushing a condenser (8) of the heat pump (7) and at least one electronic control device (6) for controlling the flushing device (13) and the flushing unit (20), wherein the electronic control device (6) isarranged to control the flushing device (13) and the flushing unit (20) such that a flushing process for flushing the evaporator (9) is replaced by a flushing process for flushing the condenser (8) respectively during a discontinuous drying process.
