Abstract (en)
The invention refers to a system for selectively collecting household waste. The system comprises an autonomous container (1) that integrates: a microprocessor (2); user identification means; certified weighing means (4); means for communicating (5) with a central computer, to which the data obtained is sent; a user interface (6) and power supply means (7), the system also comprising a recipient element (12) containing the corresponding fraction of waste with a user identification code (13) to which it corresponds, a central computer with at least one database with the identification of all of the users of the system, which receives the information of the different containers sent by the microcontroller, the central computer storing and managing the information received in order to allow the billing to be done.
