[origin: WO2018083565A1] The invention proceeds from a cooking-vessel base (10a-b) having at least one layered unit (12a-b) which has at least one heating layer (14a-b), at least one thermally conductive layer (16a-b) and at least one magnetic layer (18a-b), which is arranged at least substantially between the heating layer (14a-b) and the thermally conductive layer (16a-b). In order to create an arrangement of the type in question which has improved efficiency-related properties, it is proposed that the layered unit (12a-b) should have a plurality of connecting elements (20a-b), which are arranged in material apertures (22a-b) of the magnetic layer (18a-b) and connect the heating layer (14a-b) in a thermally conductive manner to the thermally conductive layer (16a-b).
