Abstract (en)
There is disclosed a dishwasher. The dishwasher comprises a controller (234). The dishwasher further comprises a washing compartment (204) having a first corner region (262), a second corner region (264), a third corner region (266) and a fourth corner region (268). The dishwasher also comprises a rack (212) arranged in the washing compartment (204) for holding one or more items to be washed. An adjustment mechanism (277) is provided for adjusting a position and/or orientation of the rack (212) in the washing compartment. The adjustment mechanism (277) comprises a first adjuster (278) located at the first corner region of the washing compartment, a second adjuster (280) located at the second corner region of the washing compartment, a third adjuster (282) located at the third corner region of the washing compartment, and a fourth adjuster (284) located at the fourth corner region of the washing compartment. Each of the first to fourth adjusters is independently adjustable by the controller (234).
