The stirrer mill has a mill container (2), a milling chamber (8), which is delimited by a container wall (9), and a stirring mechanism which can be rotated about a central longitudinal axis (19) and which comprises a cylindrical rotor (35). The milling chamber (8) can be filled at least partly with grinding bodies (43) with a diameter c. First tools (38) are attached to the rotor in the circumferential direction and in the direction of the central longitudinal axis, said first tools extending in the direction of the container wall, and second tools (74) are attached to the container wall in the circumferential direction and in the direction of the central longitudinal axis, said second tools extending in the direction of the rotor. The first tools are attached in the direction of the central longitudinal axis such that the first tools can pass between the rows of second tools during a rotational movement. Durch die Erfindung wird eine Rührwerksmühle zum Behandeln von fließfähigem Mahlgut bereitgestellt. Die Rührwerksmühle weist einen Mahlbehälter (2) und einen Mahlraum (8) auf, der von einer Behälterwand (9) begrenzt ist und ein um die Mittel-Längs-Achse (19) drehbares Rührwerk mit einem zylindrischen Rotor (35). Der Mahlraum (8) ist zumindest teilweise mit Mahlhilfskörpern mit Durchmesser c befüllbar. Am Rotor (35) sind in Umfangsrichtung und in Richtung der Mittel-Längs-Achse (19) erste Werkzeuge (38) angebracht, die sich in Richtung der Behälterwand (9) erstrecken und an der Behälterwand (9) sind in Umfangsrichtung und in Richtung der Mittel-Längs-Achse (19) zweite Werkzeuge (74) angebracht, die sich in Richtung des Rotors (35) erstrecken. Die ersten Werkzeuge (38) sind in Richtung der Mittel-Längs-Achse (19) so angebracht, dass sie bei einer Drehbewegung des Rotors (35) zwischen den Reihen von zweiten Werkzeugen (74) hindurchtreten können. Entsprechend sollen umgekehrt, wenn die Anzahl der ersten Werkzeuge (38) einer in Umfangsrichtung angeordneten Reihe kleiner ist als die Anzahl der zweiten Werkzeuge (74) der entsprechenden Reihe, nicht gleichzeitig alle in Richtung der Mittel-Längs-Achse (19) angeordneten und/oder in Umfangsrichtung angeordneten Reihen der ersten Werkzeuge (38) bei einer Drehbewegung des Rotors (35) auf Reihen der zweiten Werkzeuge (74) treffen.
