[origin: EP3536599A1] The invention consists of an LNG tanker ship which is used as a liquefied natural gas LNG loading station for operations for refueling ships powered by liquefied gas LNG, in operations which are commonly known as bunkering.When used as a liquefied natural gas loading station, the ship is supplied from an LNG carrier which refills the tanks of the ship; when approaching the coast, these tanks are unloaded for supplying end consumers.In bunkering or the operation for refueling ships powered by liquefied natural gas LNG, the tanks themselves and their pumping equipment, or by means of a central pumping system in the ship, transfer the gas from the tanks to the ship to be refueled.
