[origin: WO2018091307A1] The invention relates to a pyrotechnic switch (10, 20) for switching off and establishing electric circuits, comprising a first electrical conductor (11, 21), a second electrical conductor (12, 22), and an ignition element (16, 26). In a first state of the pyrotechnic switch (10, 20), the first electrical conductor (11, 21) and the second electrical conductor (12, 22) are electrically connected to one another, wherein a target separation point (14, 24) between the first electrical conductor (11, 21) and the second electrical conductor (12, 22) is provided. The target separation point (14, 24) is separated as soon as the ignition element (16, 26) is triggered, wherein the pyrotechnic switch (10, 20) is provided with a third electrical conductor (13, 23). In the first state of the pyrotechnic switch (10, 20), the third electrical conductor (13, 23) is electrically separated from the second electrical conductor (12, 22) and from the third electrical conductor (13, 23), and in a second state of the pyrotechnic switch (10, 20), the third electrical conductor (13, 23) is electrically connected to the second electrical conductor (12, 22).
