Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018082753A1] Application of pinning sleeves (10), be it tube shaped pinning inner sleeves of paper, or tube shaped coat holding pinning sleeves of plastic onto upright standing pelt boards (4) in e.g. a drying wagon (2) represents a work environmental workload for the person who perform this work, in addition the work is slow, as the pinning sleeves has to be raised to a relatively high level before the can be applied onto the pelt boards. In order to remedy this problem there is disclosed a method for applying pinning sleeves (10) which comprises a supply (22) of pinning sleeves (10) is arranged in a vertically- and horizontally displaceable, and optional lockable holding unit (20), which also may be tilt able and optional tilted lockable in a level above the nose ends (6) of the pelt boards, and so that a centre axis (23) of a pinning sleeve (10) at least over a part of the pinning sleeve (10) in the vicinity above the nose ends (6) of the pelt boards can be oriented parallel with the length axis (24) of the pelt board, from where the current pinning sleeve (10) easily by a downwards drag, can be lead to correct position on a pelt board. The use of the method represents a solution on a major problem regarding ergonomically appropriate working position in the fur industry.
