Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018091747A1] The invention relates to a viscous material pump (1) comprising at least one hydraulically driven two-cylinder piston pump (2) for generating a viscous material delivery pressure, and a hydraulic pump (3), which supplies the two-cylinder piston pump (2) with hydraulic fluid via a drive line (8), wherein the viscous material delivery pressure is adjustably limited. To limit the viscous material delivery pressure, the hydraulic pump (3) comprises a pressure controller which is adjustable to a setpoint pressure of the hydraulic fluid, wherein the pressure of the hydraulic fluid in the drive line (8) is limited to an adjustable maximum pressure by means of an adjustable pressure limiting valve (5), and the setpoint pressure of the pressure controller and the maximum pressure of the hydraulic fluid are adjustable by means of a common adjusting element (6).
