[origin: WO2018096249A1] The invention relates to a composition comprising: at least one alkanesulfonic acid of formula R-SO3H, in which R is a linear or branched saturated hydrocarbon chain of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, optionally substituted with at least one halogen atom, at least one aryl sulfonic acid, and, optionally, at least one solvent, the proportions thereof being as defined in the description. The invention also relates to the use of the composition in a method for esterifying fatty acids.
