Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2018095974A1] The invention relates to a process for producing covering material for soils, in particular beds and areas utilized for farming, and for producing turf substitute. In this process ordure-interspersed organic biomass, diatomaceous earth and microorganisms are intermixed. After the mixing of the the constituents the mixture of ordure-interspersed organic biomass, diatomaceous earth and microorganisms is layered up to form a heap and the ordure-interspersed organic biomass in the heap is processed over a predefined period when at least a portion of the ordure and the organic biomass is decomposed by the microorganisms and odour-forming constituents are bound by the diatomaceous earth.
