[origin: US2019299481A1] The invention is directed to a cutting post for mounting on a cutting apparatus and to the cutting apparatus. The cutting apparatus has at least one cutting blade and at least one cutting post. The cutting post includes at least one receptacle for the cutting blade and at least one cutting element having a cutting edge arranged at the head end of the cutting post. The cutting blade has a cutting blade edge and is held in the receptacle of the cutting post. The cutting blade edge of the cutting blade and the cutting edge of the cutting element of the cutting post conjointly form a continuous cutting contour.
