[origin: WO2018104103A1] Dust hood (100) for an angle grinder (200) equipped with a gear neck (210) for fastening the dust hood (100), with a hood body (10) for covering a circular cutting disk (220) at least in sections, and having a suction connection (40) via which removed substrate (S) can be sucked out of the hood body (10), wherein in the hood body (10) a primary suction channel (50) connected to the suction connection (40) is provided, which extends tangentially to the cutting disk (220) and is located on a connection side (AS) of the hood body (10), and in a rear side (RS) of the hood body (10), opposite to the connection side (AS), an inflow opening (60) is provided, via which ambient air (UL) can flow into the hood body (10) during the grinding operation.
