[origin: WO2018104651A1] The invention relates to a method of electrical fault diagnosis on an electric machine such as an asynchronous motor, method characterized in that it comprises the following steps, consisting in: • determining a spectrum of frequencies of an acoustic signal emitted by an electric machine while operating (34), • searching for possible predefined frequencies characteristic of an electrical fault (36) • signalling an electrical fault (step 40) if at least one predefined frequency characteristic of an electrical fault is detected.
