Abstract (en)
A reversible wrench is revealed. The wrench includes a main body (10), a control member (20), a braking toothed member (30) and a ratchet member (40). The link shaft (33) is mounted in a recessed curved slot of the braking toothed member and connected to the braking toothed member by the axial pin. An elastic member (34) is slipped on the link shaft and then the assembly of the link shaft with the elastic member is mounted in the clearance hole of the shaft of the control member. Thus the braking toothed member is certainly moved along with the control member by the link shaft when the control member is pulled for changing the direction. The axial pin forms a support point for smoother movement and operation of the braking toothed member. The elastic member is extended and compressed in the clearance hole stably, without failure such as permanent deformation or being popped out. Thus not only operation stability and engagement strength are improved, durability is also increased.
